Welcome to Tastely. By using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tastely. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Post offensive, inappropriate, or misleading content in usernames, bios, or board names
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the App without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use the App to spam or send unsolicited communications
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create on Tastely (boards, ratings, reviews). By making content public, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it within the App and through shared links. You can delete your content at any time.
5. Third-Party Content
Movie data, posters, and related information displayed in the App are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This content is owned by their respective rights holders. Tastely is not affiliated with or endorsed by TMDB or any movie studio.
6. Intellectual Property
The Tastely name, logo, design, and original code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.
8. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Tastely available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of movie data, recommendations, or taste similarity scores. Use the App at your own discretion.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tastely shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
